Yachting Partners International has staged the second YPI Yacht Builders Seminar at the Monaco Yacht Club.
Following the success of the Feadship reunion last year, the company took the event as an opportunity to introduce those in attendance to FIPA Italiana Yachts. The Italian ship builder has been in operation since the 1970s but has remained a family-run business.

Following the success of the Feadship reunion last year, the company took the event as an opportunity to introduce those in attendance to FIPA Italiana Yachts. The Italian ship builder has been in operation since the 1970s but has remained a family-run business.
For the event in Monaco, five of FIPA’s executive team were in attendance: Technical Manager, Bruno Bonini; Alessandro Greco, naval architect on the AB166; Rudolph Berglehner, Head of Marketing; Giacomo Benelli, Sales & Marketing and the Group’s charismatic Owner/Founder Francesco Guidetti.
The Group – which is comprised of AB Yachts, MAIORA, CBI Navi and Intermare – builds custom yachts from GRP, steel and aluminium, Kevlar and carbon up to 80 metres.
“The Group is responsible for some truly inspired designs and constructions,” says YPI Senior Consultant and Seminar organiser Eric Althaus. “Intelligent acquisitions over the years have resulted in a team with a vast and far-reaching experience in yacht design and construction.”
